Elegant Botanical Wedding with Easton Events Featured on Once Wed

We love Charleston! It's one of my favorite places to photograph weddings. This spring I had the great pleasure of working with one of my favorite event designers, Easton Events at their property in Charleston called Cannon Green. If you haven't been, you must go!

Here is a bit from Lynn, of Easton Events on their design and inspiration for this editorial featured on Once Wed....

“This dreamy Charleston design collaboration drew upon the natural garden elements, the history, and the timeless elegance of our venue, Cannon Green. An ingenious reincarnation of a dilapidated 1840s Charleston Single House into a smart, airy, tripartite dining room, courtyard and reception hall, Cannon Green is a marriage of old and new, historic and hip, old world elegant and verdant contemporary.

The couple’s dining experience was set in the palm tree-lined courtyard with our favorite Estella tableware by Anthropologie offering a hint of a fairy-tale delight with its corners and curlicues.  The hand-made spiraled candles from Roxie Daisy were tucked into varied sizes of poured cement taper holders, and the cool grays were also woven into the paper suite. Designed by Kaela Rawson, with organic hand-lettering and simple, botanical illustrations by Signore e Mare, the paper suite is a nod to the understated personality of the couple.

We layered the farm table with a golden-flecked underlay and a gauzy scrim, and we lined it with fawn-colored infinity chairs from EventHaus. We love the muted cream tones of the bride’s tulle ivory strapless beaded gown by Naeem Khan. Her undone chignon and natural makeup by Lora Kelley complement the loose design of the table and soft, neutral palette of the gorgeous florals by Stems Charleston. It was a wonderful collaboration with photographer Eric Kelley and our Easton Events team.
