Joy-Filled Wedding Weekend at Sea Island

What started on the golf course, ended in an after-hours speakeasy in the men’s golf locker room...

Eric Kelley beautifully documented this joy-filled wedding weekend at Sea Island, perfectly planned by Augusta Cole. The weekend celebrations kicked off on the golf course where guests enjoyed a bit of friendly competition, along with time by the pool to cool off. From there, guests enjoyed the coastal weather as they made their way to the outdoor rehearsal dinner. Li Ward provided stunning custom stationery that listed out guests' names and sat atop place settings. Guests enjoyed time together as they enjoyed food, each other's companies, and speeches given by loved ones. The night concluded with a spectacular firework display.

The morning of the wedding, the bride and groom got ready in their respective spaces as they prepared to meet at the alter. Our bride was pampered by her incredible hair and makeup team consisting of Meg McMillion Beauty, Hair by Gracie Bass, and Patrick Navarro. The ceremony site was a beautiful outdoor oasis tucked in the green gardenscape of Sea Island. They said 'I do' surrounded by loved ones and lush florals under a stunning open-air canope.

From there, guests went on to enjoy cocktail hour as we took couple portraits and prepared for the recption. Cocktail hour was enjoyed outside under the palm trees with background music to set the scene. The tented reception welcomed guests with striking floral designs by The Vine, green linens, draping by Party Tables, and beautiful table place settings. Day moved into night as guests enjoyed each other's company and food while the cake was cut and sun began to set. The party moved onto the dance floor as the after party transformed into a speakeasy that took place in the men's golf locker room with the help of Technical Event— a full circle end to their weekend. East Coast Entertainment and Pirate Stereo kept the party alive from cocktail hour to after party as guests enjoyed their soundtrack to the day. This Sea Island wedding was a weekend for the books!
